About Me

My name is Rebekah Elliott. I am a qualified UK teacher with a BA (Hons) and PGCE from the University of Nottingham. As a high-achieving student, who achieved the top A-level grades in my school's history at the time, it's my passion to work with students and see them realise their own potential.

I have worked in UK schools and colleges at primary, secondary and FE levels, so my knowledge of the UK education system is extensive. I am also a Principal Examiner for History A-level for one of the country's biggest examination boards. In addition to this, I have worked as a senior examiner for GCSE History and as an examiner for a range of qualifications including iGCSE, iAS level and Singapore 'O' and 'A' level.

As a tutor, I support students in History (A-level, IB,  iGCSE, GCSE and CE,) English Language and Literature (A-level, iGCSE, GCSE and CE), Religious Studies (CE) and the 11+.  My approach is detailed and exam-focused, but I am also passionate about building students' confidence and self-belief.

I have helped students win places at top universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, Bath, UCL, Edinburgh, Bristol and Cardiff and places at schools including Harrow, Tonbridge, Benenden, Sevenoaks and Stowe.
